SmartXpress Return Procedures & Process

100% Satisfaction Guarantee - We pride ourselves in guaranteeing your complete satisfaction with every purchase you make from SmartXpress. You may request a Return Authorization for most products within 30 days from the original date of purchase for an exchange or for a full refund and credit.  

Certain Return exclusions and exceptions are noted below:

All products authorized for return must be shipped at your expense
This is true except in the event of defective products or products shipped in error and must be received by SmartXpress in NEW resalable condition with all packing materials, parts and accessories intact and in new condition. SmartXpress reserves the right to deny any return or exchange or credit if a product is not in original/resalable condition.

Returns due to in-transit freight damage must be noted at the time of delivery
Any shipments you receive with any visible damage to the contents or packing materials should be noted on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. You may also choose to refuse a shipment with obvious damage. Any product with obvious carton damage that was NOT noted at the time of delivery will be your responsibility. In that case you will need to reconcile any freight damage claims with the appropriate shipper.

Furniture is only accepted for return within 14 days of the date of receipt
Since furniture is subject to natural wear and tear, we can only accept furniture items for return within 14 days of the date of receipt, and in the original shipping container and in NEW, resalable condition.

Custom and special order products are only returnable in the event of a manufacturers defect.
These items include rubber stamps, stationary, ad specialty items, items not normally stocked but special ordered from the manufacturer, assembled furniture, etc., is only returnable in the event of a manufacturers defect.

Technology and electronic products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase
These products must be in the original unopened box or packaging and with UPC code intact. If product box is opened, a 15% restocking fee will be applied. This applies to all technology products and electronics. Defective products in this category are subject to manufacturers warrantee and returns policies. Some manufacturers will accept defective returns from SmartXpress, and others require that the defective product be returned direct to the manufacturer as part of warrantee claim. A Customer Care Associate at SmartXpress can assist you with questions in this instance.

Food, Pharmaceutical and First Aid Products cannot be returned to our inventory under any circumstances.

How to return product to SmartXpress

  1. In order to process your return in the most efficient and accurate manner please complete the SmartXpress Authorization for Return (AR) form found here.  To complete this form you will need to provide us with your SmartXpress account number, invoice number the item was purchased under, the item number and description of the item(s) and reason for return. Alternatively, you may send an e-mail to CustomerCare@SmartXpress.com with the same information listed above. You can also call 1 877-221-9031 and speak to a Customer Care Operator.
  2. Our Customer Care representatives will e-mail you a shipping label form that will contain all the information needed to properly process you return. Just place this form on the outside of the shipping container and ship the product back to the address noted on the label.
  3. When we receive the product back in our distribution center, we will inspect the condition and promptly issue the appropriate credit in the same manner as the original items was billed.
