Orders placed before 5:00 p.m. local time will generally be shipped the same day
to arrive at your location in 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding
Holidays), but in most instances will be delivered next business day. An estimated
delivery date can be provided after your order is placed. These dates vary due to
carrier shipping practices, delivery location and the items you order. Products
may be delivered in separate shipments.
SmartXpress operates within the contiguous 48 states of the US and therefore does
not ship or bill to Alaska, Hawaii or international addresses. SmartXpress delivers
to street addresses and not to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. For your packages
safety, it is best to have someone available to sign for your order during the hours
of 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays (UPS may deliver
to residential addresses up to 7:00 p.m.). In certain instances, your order may
not be suitable for driver release if no one is available to receive it. The driver
will leave a note with instructions on how to receive your order, or you will be
contacted for a redelivery.
Certain SmartXpress items originate directly from carefully selected vendors and
manufacturers. For example, direct manufacturer delivery personnel may deliver your
order to your office or place of business. Other items are pre-stocked at warehouses
around the country and delivered by a common carrier. For these items a loading
dock is needed. If one is not available, delivery personnel will bring your order
to the tailgate of the truck and you are responsible for unloading the items and
bringing them into your building.
Delivery is free on all orders over $50, excluding custom products. Custom products
include stamps, customized printing and promotional products. (If a product may
be personalized, the product is considered “custom” even if the customer declines
to personalize the product.) Examples include (but are not limited to) inked stamps
and embossers, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, forms, checks, signs, badges,
folders, binders, holiday cards and document services (such as copies, binding,
finishing, brochures and flyers). Orders under $50 will be subject to a $9.95 minimum
order freight charge.
